Steven P. Ellis, M.D.
Dr. Ellis attended Franklin and Marshall College, graduating in 1978 Magna Cum Laude. He was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. After completing his internship in Internal Medicine at the Manhattan Veterans Administration Hospital and New York University Hospital, he performed his ophthalmology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Ellis was an Associate Surgeon on the Cataract and Primary Eye Care Service at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia where he instructed residents in the general ophthalmology clinic and has contributed to their training in advanced cataract surgical techniques for twenty years.
Dr. Ellis is a Fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology and is on staff at Princeton Medical Center-Penn Medicine. He is a past President of the Ophthalmic Society of Philadelphia. He has four children and five grandchildren.
Robert Chiang, M.D.
Dr. Chiang graduated with distinction from Stanford University in California before earning his medical degree from Yale Medical School in Connecticut. He completed his medicine internship at the University of California, Los Angeles and then performed his ophthalmology residency at the world-renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. While at Wills, Dr. Chiang learned cutting edge techniques in cataract surgery from the best surgeons in the nation. While still a resident at Wills, Dr. Chiang was recruited by Dr. Ellis and Dr. Weinstock. He has been a part of Mercer Eye Associates ever since.
Dr. Chiang is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a special interest in cataract surgery. He is a member of the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He is on staff at Robert Wood Johnson at Hamilton.
Elad Feldman, M.D.
Dr. Feldman joined Mercer Eye Associates in September of 2008 after completing a fellowship in Cornea, External Diseases, and Refractive Surgery at Wills Eye Institute, one of the country’s most renowned eye hospitals. Dr. Feldman specializes in general ophthalmology, refractive laser surgery, cataract surgery, as well as the medical and surgical management of corneal pathology. Dr. Feldman has a special interest in corneal transplant surgery and is fellowship trained in partial thickness endothelial transplants, more commonly known as Descemet’s Stripping Endothelial Keratoplasty or DSEK. Dr. Feldman also is involved in the treatment of inflammatory, infectious, hereditary and traumatic conditions affecting the cornea.
Dr. Feldman graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Biology and spent two years performing clinical research at the National Institutes of Health prior to earning his medical degree at the SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Winthrop University Hospital, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Feldman is an attending physician on the Wills Eye Institute cornea service where he is involved in both the medical and surgical education of the Wills residents. He is an active member of the ocular trauma staff at the Wills Eye Emergency Department and specializes in the repair of traumatic corneal injury. Dr. Feldman is also on staff at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, and the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, NJ. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has presented original research both at Wills Eye Institute and at the annual Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) meetings.
Robin Antonacci, M.D.
Dr. Antonacci is a Board-Certified Comprehensive Ophthalmologist with hospital privileges at Princeton Medical Center-Penn Medicine. She received her B.S. degree at Georgetown University followed by her Medical Degree at Georgetown University Medical Center. She completed a Transitional Internship in both surgery and medicine at Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, VA and then her residency in Ophthalmology at Georgetown University Medical Center.
After residency, Dr. Antonacci worked in Boston and then relocated to the Princeton area where she worked as a general ophthalmologist. She then joined Mercer Eye Associates where she enjoyed caring for patients and being a part of the MEA community. She is excited to return to MEA and focus her expertise in comprehensive ophthalmology, evaluating and treating medical diseases of the eye.
